Warm Workwear for Winter

At Alsicare we pride ourselves on offering workwear for the healthcare, care and medical sectors for all seasons. As the nights start drawing in, it’s time to think of warm workwear for the winter months. Forecasters say it’s going to get as cold as it gets in just a matter of a few short weeks: Time to think of layers and outerwear!

Regular readers of our blog will know we design, manufacture and sell our own garments, made here in the UK.  Any of the clothing you read about here is available for same day despatch if ordered before 3pm. There’s no minimum order, and businesses making larger orders are able to open a trade account. That means both individuals and companies can buy direct from us, making savings on quality work garments.

All garments are designed to be windproof and water resistant. Our expanded range includes a Bib and Brace, Coveralls, Jacket, Coat and Bodywarmer. Sizes are available to fit the equivalent of a 34”-36” chest, right up to 50”-52”. Just use the size guide for each garment to find your perfect fit.

For example, the short Jackets are available in various colour ways including 2 high viz styles and in sizes S to XXL. The Coats offer more protection, and are made from the same tough fabric and are available in sizes 92cm to 140cm. Both have plenty of features built in including pockets, 3M Reflective Tape and a front stud fastening. Both will keep the elements at bay.

The key to keeping warm in the winter months is often layering. We can’t say enough about our versatile Gryzko Bodywarmer. Available in black and featuring twin stitching for extra durability, it’s available in sizes S to XXL. Designed to be worn over shirts and sweaters it’s cut for a roomy fit.

We also make 4 garments with a fleece or brushed inner which can be worn over uniforms or civvies.  New to our range is the Super Fleece which has a full length front fastening zip and is available in navy or black. Unisex by design, it’s available in sizes S to XXXL. Made from our own polyester fabric it’s the perfect layering garment and we’ve called it Super Fleece for good reason.

Alternatives to the Super Fleece include out Sweat Shirt, the Gryzko Hoody and Gryzko Soft Shell. Ball all have a brushed or fleece lining.

Our Sweat Shirt is generously sized and has a brushed inner for extra warmth. It’s available in a range of colours including Red, Black and Navy and in sizes Small to XXL Large.

The Soft Shell has the benefit of being windproof and water resistant and is cut to be slightly longer at the back.  It also has an internal iphone/ipod pocket, as well as 3 external concealed pockets and 2 internal poacher’s pockets. The Hoody has 2 side pockets. The Hoody also has a contrast lined hood with draw cord, side panels, hem and cuffs in Charcoal and is available in Black/Charcoal and Blue Shadow/Charcoal. It’s available in sizes S to XXL. The Soft Shell is available in sizes Small to XXXL.
