Pharmacy Uniforms

The role of the pharmacist in the UK has evolved dramatically in recent years. Although the vast majority still base themselves in chemist shops and other retail outlets their role has broadened to include more than the dispensing of medication.

Pharmacists can now sell medications directly to the public and provide advice on those medications. It’s also true that some pharmacists carry out health checks. But first and foremost pharmacists are the experts on medicines and are able to offer advice about minor ailments and health issues – such as weight loss, and giving up smoking and emergency contraceptive.

The changing role of the pharmacist means they have to look professional and approachable.  

We appreciate that different work environments place different constraints on what you can or choose to wear but the trend is for pharmacists to include a casual element to their uniform. This may mean wearing a tunic over jeans or a skirt.

Our range includes tunics for men and women including many styles incorporating our unique A Frame technology. A Frame technology has been designed specifically for the healthcare sector to maximise movement and comfort.  It’s also possible to add your logo (or name) to any tunic.

Typical features of our standard tunics include back vents with action pleats, breast pockets, lower front hip pockets, a polyurethane pen pocket and short sleeves with shaped cuff ends. Our A Frame tunics also incorporate open arm-hole vents, four piece back with yoke and internal mesh for ease-of-movement (A-Frame).

Styles include a female A Frame / Move Tunic in white with a range of different trims including burgundy, pink, jade and navy. For men, A Frame/Move Tunics are available in white with burgundy, jade and navy trims. Our plain female tunic is available in a range of solid colours including mint, lilac and bottle, all with contrasting piping.

From an infection control perspective our tunics are also suitable for wearing on hospital wards. And if you prefer to wear a white lab coat we design and make those too!
