Pet Grooming Uniforms

Dog and cat owners are increasingly picky about the pet groomers they use.  They are looking for caring professionals who provide a wide range of good value services.

Dog groomers routinely offer a bathing and clipping service.

It’s not just long haired dogs that benefit from being professionally groomed either as most dogs eventually get dirty because they spend part of the day outside. Dog groomers typically offer additional services too including cleaning anal glands, clipping claws and cleaning ears. Some dog groomers may also offer show preparation. One of the often overlooked benefits of taking a dog to the groomers regularly is that the groomer will have a chance to check the dog over for any lumps, bumps and scratches.

Likewise cat groomers offer de-matting services, grooming, nail clipping and show prep. Most often it’s long haired cats that need grooming but short haired cats, particularly over-weight ones, also benefit from being regularly groomed.

 No one needs a qualification to become a pet groomer so word of mouth marketing is very important. Most pet groomers operate out of a salon although a minority offer a mobile grooming service.
