Buy Nursing Tunics from UK Suppliers

Thanks to their increasing popularity nursing tunics are widely available for both men and women. But we wonder how much thought actually goes into the design and production of most tunics? What we mean is, are they really designed with the rigors of the job in mind?

We all appreciate just how hard nurses work. The same could also be said of others working in care professions. Long hours, much bending, stretching and lifting are part of many nursing and care roles.

We knew that if we were going to design and manufacture nursing tunics then they’d have to be special to standout.  It seems just about any uniform supplier will be selling tunics, but without much regard to the provenance.

We only sell our own tunics. Much thought (and discussion!!) has gone into the design and fabric selection of all our nurses’ tunics. Yes they do look good, but they are functional and practical as well as good value for money.

For example all our standard female tunics share the same key features whether you prefer plain, striped or white fabrics. Our female tunics have a flattering shape. Beyond the cut you’ll find back vents with action pleats, instantly give more freedom of movement. Naturally, all tunics have short sleeves but ours have shaped cuffs. Then there is the rounded collar and a concealed front zip. There are plenty of pockets too. All are finished with contrast piping to the collar, sleeves and pockets.  Our standard male tunics are equally practical, comfortable and attractive. 

Our male and female nursing tunics also use “hi tech” fabrics: Superior poly cotton blends selected for being light, hardwearing and easy to care for.

But there’s more. We also design our own superior range of A-Frame/Move nursing tunics for both men and women. As the name suggests these have an internal A-Frame made of mesh to allow extra movement and also underarm holes to keep the wearer cool. We’re very proud of these which work extremely well for nursing and care staff.
