Alsico Bring Home Two PCIAW Awards!

Last Wednesday, the Professional Clothing Industry Association Worldwide (PCIAW) held their yearly award ceremony in London and we are very pleased to share the news that Alsico were awarded not one, but two winning trophies.

A big congratulations to our Managing Director David Toon, who won the ’Lifetime Achievement' award, as well as our General Manager Greg Houlston, who achieved the ‘Best Newcomer’ award. These prestigious awards are said to ‘recognise innovative individuals and businesses that are breaking boundaries in the professional clothing industry.’ (PCIAW)

We would also like to share that our healthcare division, Meltemi, was recognised for its healthcare workwear brochure, receiving a 'highly commended’ certificate.

Well done to David and Greg, both were very well deserved, thank you for making Alsico UK proud!

The event was held at the Hilton Metropole Hotel where Greg, David and the rest of the Alsico team were met with champagne, dinner and a collection of talks from the likes of His Excellency Nabil Ben Khedher, Tunisian Ambassador to Great Britain and Adam Mansell CEO of UKFT.

It is a sector specific trade body, the first and only of its kind, that recognises a need to support buyers and suppliers in the workwear industry. The initiative is run by members, for members, and is a not-for-profit organisation.
